Re: Car Wouldn't Start After Body Damage Collision

$230 towing fee for 2 miles?!?! I had my car towed 2 miles from my house to a repair shop, and the hook up fee was $35 and the mileage charge was $4. The only other time I had my car towed (from the side of the road, so more expensive), it was $49 total.

What does the $7000 cover? Do you have a break down on the parts and labor that they say it will take to fix the car? I wrecked my 240 once, which involved me hitting a curb and a sign (exterior damage was only on one fender). My car had severe damage to the right front suspension, including a bent spindle, control arm, and strut housing, leaving the car barely drivable. The initial estimate to fix only the suspension was $1000 with used parts. I ended up buying the parts I needed for $110, and had them installed for 4 hours of labor ($244), plus I just got a replacement fender for $100. My car also wouldn't start right after the accident, but about 2 minutes later I tried, and it started right up and I limped it home.
