Electrical problem in ignition switch? 700 1989

I just recently bought a 1989 740 Turbo (2 weeks) it is the first Volvo I have owned. Sometimes when I start the car the electrical system does not work. I figured out that the key does not go back into the "on" position but somewhere between "on" and the "starting" position on the ignition switch. I fix it by just clicking the key back a little bit. Is this an expensive thing to get fixed or it is just one of those things I have to live with?

Also, does anyone know where I can get good quality used parts for the interior and exterior? I live in central Fl.

I would appreciate any help and advice. I would like to make her look nice but don't want to break my bank account doing it.
