Would like your opinion, please....

Do you think I'll need to bleed the in-place (not replaced) MC, which had been allowed to drain of brake fluid in the resevoir?

On my '84 244GL, I just replaced both calipers, flex hoses, and the hard lines in between. I also had to replace the two lines which crossover from the combination valve to the right side.

Due to problems with a fauly rebuild caliper on the right, which I had to remove to return the to parts store, the two lines on that side seemed enought fluid to empty the MC bottle.

Upon installing the second rebuilt caliper, I refilled the bottle and allowed gravity to fill each caliper and the front lines. (opened all six bleeders until fluid came out)

Then I pressure bled the front of the system one time. The brake pedal goes to the floor.

While I expected to have to bleed the system at least twice in order to knock out all air in the front half, I am wondering if I need to pay particular attention now to the MC, due to the fact that I allowed it to drain?

I did not bleed the rear calipers, reasoning their lines were not opened and will still be filled.

What would you do from here?
