Yeah, sorry for the cursory post, but that's usually a real straightforward
diagnosis. The driveshaft center support bearing's failure ( binding under a load) is usually the cause of floorboard "thumping", Mine does it with hard acceleration and about 4 150-200 lb passengers aboard.If you've never replaced this in 120k or so, it should be about ripe for this...that little bit of play
you get whent manipulating it by hand under the car could look much more significant under full engine torque.
