Hello, I had the same problem with my 740 GL, after replacing the fuel relay, air filter, fuel filter etc, etc, I finally noticed a small tear in my main air intake hose and a dirty throttle body. I also needed a new prepump to my fuel pump. I'm not sure if you've already examined these possiblities, but hopefully they help.
