Starters 62-90+ will bolt up and work, wiring issues ands maybe clearance issues are uncertain. Here's what I know:

62 to 67 or so- different case with removeable strap over the brushes.

68-84 or so - identical thoughout, big housing, solid case

84- 90+ - small starter came into use, were several versions
