I can NOT use 89 Octane (R+M/2) in my 1985Ti..........

Of course! I have never done that, (yet read it on various boards) but heck it's cheap and relatively easy. I'll just T into a non-vital vacuum line.

Well, your newer beasts have a knock sensors....B21Ft's are without this "modern" sensor! I can just about run urine in the 850. So I would think your car's shouldn't knock with 87.
