Hello Don:

Get the regulator at a boneyard-- don't let them sell you a motor if you don't need one-- they are detachable from the regulator mechanism. Should be 4 bolts holding the regulator to the door and two spring clips holding the arms in the nylon sliders. Make sure that your sliders and the plastic/nylon washers are in good shape behind the spring clips or you will find yourself doing this job again too soon.

I paid $45 CDN from the boneyard for a regulator ($30 USD). It took me part of an afternoon to do the job. A bit fiddly, but not bad...
