Jim -

Thanx for the back-up. The 6 cyl. 260 series had the clutch master/slave cylinder system because it was a more luxurious car. Hooray for our side, the cable system is sooooo much simpler to mess with.

For Bob -

You need some shop manuals. The Haynes covers your year, the Bentley doesn't. Get to http://www.volvotechinfo.com/index.asp to check out the Volvo Service Manuals and get the Wiring Diagrams book, it's worth it. It has stuff the others do not have. The Haynes is seen at AutoZone sometimes. $14 or so.
