Right. Relay sounds promising. UK models might differ as my friends old '88 2 litle injection 240 had some kind of external fuel pump fuse that corroded. I couldn't remember where it was...might be at or near the pump...the dealer said they were designed to corrode so that they would receive regular attention(!)
