Hot, hot, hot 140-160 1973

Hola George,

My gas gauge generally reads full and then makes a sudden plunge. I had figured it was the sender unit.

There are numerous other quirks with the panel readouts -- sometimes the tach won't work when the headlights are on, sometimes both turn signals are constantly lit and the opposite signal flashes, etc., -- so maybe the regulator is it. I'll start probing around. What does this thing look like?

How does one measure the radiator temp? I thought the radiator lacked a cap, like the 240. Would you use a meat thermometer or what?

Thirsty for knowledge,

Steve Merelman
