Checking SRS light 700 1990

Is there a way to check the SRS light code as you would the ABS and Check Engine light? I know there are 6 holes in the little block where you check the abs and engine lights. My SRS light was on when I bought the car and at my last service at the dealer I asked them to fix it. Come to find out, they just unplugged the light in the back. Nice of them wasn't it to take such care in their driver's safety.
