I posted a couple of weeks ago to say that intermittently the engine in my 740 just shuts off and then after waiting for 15-20 minutes it will start again. It can happen at any speed or while standing still. Fuel pump and radio suppression relays are about 2 years old. Power stage, air mass meter and idle air control less than a year old. Intermittent faults are just frustrating. Well, its finally not intermittent. It just failed. No spark. Turns out it was the Hall sensor. Replaced the distributor. Problem resolved.
