Fuel pump priming, 142E 140-160

How did you check to see if the pump was plugged with dirt? I get the impression from your posting that you disassembled the pump, but don't think anyone commented on that. If you did, I have no experience with that but think I once saw a posting here where someone said they sometimes had success with cleaning pumps.
