Knocking Problem 700 1988

Check the timing. Should be set at 12 degrees or 10, depending on what book you read. Also, make sure you use some good gasoline, like 92 or 93 octane. The FAQ explains how to check the knock sensor. If you need to buy one, try:

i think they run around $34. Not to sure on that one though.
