wrecking yard condenser fans?

The 6.2 ohms is a good sign but no garantee. Take a pair of small jumper wires with little alligator clips on each end.... Radio Shack. Simply connect it to a battery and see if runs smoothly without vibration or noise. Polarity won't matter for the test, it just may go backwards.
