wrecking yard condenser fans?

I dont know about others, but I have had bad luck with aftermarket fans. So far I havent gotten one to last more that 4 months.

But I love the Mercedes fans off 380,420, 560 sels. They look like they will fit in a 240dl. I plan on trying it out myself.

As for the Isuzu go for it. The factory fans seem to last a really long time compared to aftermarket. The 5 ohms sounds fine to me. Just get some scrap wiring laying around the wrecking yard and connect the fan to a battery there to test it if you will feel more comfortable.
