Trailing Arm Bushings bad?

The short RTA bushings being the small ones on the front body attachment?

Good idea on going forward reverse and such. I have a good idea where to do this, there is a place near parking lot at the college I attend that has a driveway between a buildling and other sound reflective surface (backside of plywood fenced tennis courts)

I will attempt doing that and taking someone with me.

I was also thinking of lifting the rear of the car, supporting with jackstands, running it and braking to see if the noise appears then. That would isolate it out of the suspension. Then I was thinking of supporting the axle shafts and doing the same thing to figure out which bushings (if it is those) are bad.

yea, I would buy premium bushings. Probably poly if I could since this is a semi-performance daily driver. That is good price from Duane.

How long do you think replacement would take? I am a college student and work 25 hours/week so time is a commodity anymore.

thanks
take care
