Trailing Arm Bushings bad?

Morning, Luke!

"How long do you think replacement would take?" I've done this job four times, but essentially every other year -- enough time to forget how I did it last time so I need to rediscover how to do it.

Get a Bentley manual and read up on the procedure. Duane also sends directions taken from the Green Book. Line up all your tools (you'll need a big mother adjustable wrench in addition to a 1/2" drive breaker bar).

My last time, around Christmas '01, I worked on the left side, from about 3 till dark -- say 2 to 2-1/2 hours? and I did the passenger side the next afternoon till dark. So...total of maybe 5 hours? That included getting all the tools ready, squirting down the fittings with PB Blaster, digging out the sheets of cardboard to lay upon, and clearing the decks on the street where I work when I was done. I'd suggest that you count on a tad more time since this will be your first time.

Rob
