As usual, I take forever to do anything, but in the next couple of weeks Im gonna have to bring this ac thing to a conclusion. Ive learned alot in a short time. I had no idea what quagmire auto air has become.

For awhile, I was leaning to freeze 12. Now Im leaning back to freon. In either case, I understand that i need a license to buy. I just wanna be prepared.

Im still open to suggestions though. Got any more?

Heres what Im doing:

a. changing out the condenser(it had a bad leak)
b. changing the expansion valve(just because it was suggested for efficiency).
c. vac the system
d. charge with one gas or another.(not 134, because I have some tiny leaks)

meanwhile, Im studying for the test. I figure worst case, at least Ill learn something.
