messing with brakes 120-130 1965

Just a thought. Last summer after laying up for the winter, my '66 was rear lock happy when I stamped on the brakes (something I always do when I take the car out for the first time). Instead of tearing things apart (I knew everything was working 6 months earlier) I drove it some more, trying to get the front to start grabbing, after a few more hard stops (and a little cruising while applying light brake pressure) everything was back to normal. I believe it wasn't the rears locking so much as the fronts failing to grab, I just had to kind of work them loose. Personally I have found both my 120s to be badly balanced front/rear and will one day soon buy a fr/rear adjuster so that I can brake harder in turns etc..
