dave.....saw your post and just thought i'd ask about the longevity/reliability of the sensor on your '84........was at a local pick and pull..lookin' at a wrecked saab, thinkin' about using it's fan assy for a mod on my 240..it also has a sleeve w/sender in the upper hose..was going to use that, when i saw on some parts source site a warning about failures in the saab unit and how they should be r&r'd every 2 years..might be propaganda..any probs. with volvo sensor and do you know the on/off temps?........thanks....j.
