Sounds like your fuel pressure regulator, as long as I understand what you are saying about the boost controler. Sounds to me like it has been rendered inoperative by removing the sensing line. My only guess is fuel pressure regulator. Maybe the diaphragm has a pin hole that is allowing air to get into the fuel rail? or maybe it is just leaning out by not increasing pressure? Does the engine knock just prior to "cut out"?
