what happens if you shift own at too higher rev range?.....

i know you wouldnt would you..i mean it would be silly..but then again how used to driving a manual are you..and if its anything like a v8 rover engine (aka buick)...you can grenade the engine but good at 120 mph...how do i know this...cos my brother did it on a drag strip by accident...added a new definition to 'not popular'
