I would say that you must have a mid-age seat... I have one in my '71 wagon, and it is not like either of the auctions you mentioned. And it has no seatbelts. It does have aremrests, and two narrow headrest pads rather than one long one. If you send me an email reminder to matt@metricsucks.com, I can send you pics of it. But...currently it has a load of trash atop the lids....
As for whether it will fit...I would think the easiest would be to measure the lids, and see if the hinging hardware is compatable.
All that said, I honestly don't know if I would be real keen on using the rear seat from a safety standpoint. At least not at high speeds and the like. Of course, the seatbelts would help. I jsut don't like the idea of sitting so close to the back of a car. But...when I got my car, the seller said it was great at drivein movies with his kids. Just pulled in backwards and hoped the rear door.
