240 DL & 740 GLE, what are the differences?

I have a 88 740 and had a 240 in the past. They have the same engine and drive
train. The 740 is 2 inches lower and a little wider wheel base. that give it a better highway ride. the 240 is a simpler car. The seats are better in 740.
240 are better in snow. 240 has a deeper trunk.
good luck deciding. the 240 is normal the first volvo one gets.
