Ok, I got to a local junkyard and got the exact part # from a wrecked 90 760 (rather than take a guess w/ a $65 part) Car fired right up and runs fine (for now) . Even thumped the new part and the area and it kept running (previously caused the car to stall). I may still pick up a new one, but at least i've bought some time.
