It is in the output of the alternator. On the old SEV Motorola alternators
there will be one or two pressed into an aluminum plate bolted to the
back of the alternator. Note that they are NEGATIVE diodes and if you replace
them you must use negative diodes because of the way they are mounted.
Also be very careful that you don't damage the insulating washers for the
output bolt, which will also short them and allow current to flow both ways.
