How to adjust timing on 88' 745 turbo?

The head mounted distributor is on the rear of the engine and driven by the camshaft. To change the timing, loosen the two 10 mm head bolts which secure it to the head. Timing is specified to be 12 degrees BTDC, plus/minus 2 degrees.
