Dash Problems after Small Clock installed 200

You've got a poor ground connection in the instrument cluster.
Remove cluster and inspect all screw and all connections to the big tan circuit board. Make certain there are no loose unaccounted for wires in the dash. Look closely at the pins for the two circular connectors on the back of the cluster.
Look for crack in solder joints (can be just a hairline). If you have a soldering iron, you can re-flow the solder joints and make these problems go away.
If instead you find cracks IN THE CIRCUIT BOARD, you may be better off replacing the cluster (swap in your speedo and tach to keep the mileage correct).
Good luck!
