If you're used to a 765, a 245 will definitely be a step down. The 900 series is basically a more refined 700 series - more soundproofing, plastics that don't shatter with age, more luxury items (power seats etc.), stronger motors. The 700/900 series cargo space is more useable, too. It's wider & longer than the 200's, and you also get the 60/40 split folding rear seat, which was never offered in a 200. The rustproofing and body fit & finish is better in the 900s, too, though if you're looking at '93 or newer the 200s aren't really bad, either.
Why are you "done with the turbos" though? The NA versions of the 240/740/940 wagons are pretty sluggish, esp. with the far more common automatic transmissions. A well-maintained turbo, esp. from 1993 and later, will be no more troublesome than a non-turbo.
