940 wagon

Your '95 945 is "as fast as any other Turbo Volvo you have driven?

Drive my stock, well-maintained 740T (which has been exquisitely reliable) and note the power of a B230FT in the light 700-Series body. Slap yourself in the face. Vow to never question the power and poise of a turbo'd 700 series vs. a NA 900.

200 bucks too much to pay for a single Volvo part?

1. Go to a junkyard and buy a part. Don't fall for the dealer racket.

2. Make more money somehow.

3. Drive a Chevy Lumina, parts for those older domestics are wayyyy cheap. V-6 GM front-drivers are pretty reliable too.
