Sunroof.

(well OK--there were others. But the sunroof is nice.)

Either a 93 240 or a 940 is good. I like both cars and they are both very good. More luxury touches in the 740/940 series. And the car feels bigger, whether or not it is, i don't know.

The 92 740 and 940 wagon were virtually the same car with the exception of the seats. Otherwise, options were very similar.

As far as a direct comparison of the cars, you'll probably find that the 900's parts bills are higher in some respects, but not horribly so. You WILL spend more on brakes and engine mounts. That's life. Not a big deal though.

Plus the 93 940, with smaller sway bar in front, has a very nice ride over bad roads.
