Check the intank hose. Mine was gone completely. I thought I would be cool and order the volvo replacement hose and it was just plain old fuel line. (I let them keep it)

If you go in there, you should replace the filter sock. They rot.

Had no trouble getting the locking ring (bung nut) off. Getting it back on was another issue. I ended up buying the IPD tool.
