Yeah, my '83 240 is an auto also. I don't really have trouble inserting cds with it in the lower section of the console. thanks to kevin and a little trial and error, i got the cd player powered and running last night. i have to find my haynes manuel today for that wiring diagram to get the antenna connected... but if you any questions, email kevin. his address is one of the posts on this thread.
