You'll note that the trend of the advice below is to take the shaft to a specialist driveline shop...I agree. I did and they installed new U-jts and balanced the shaft for not a lot of money.(One-piece D/S - not my Volvo). Life is much smoother now. Take note of the recommendation to mark your yokes so they can be realigned identically when you bolt things back up.
