hood wont open!!!! please Help!!!!

Hold the nut at the base of the spring under the front of your hood and turn the portion with a flat screwdriver slot to the left. That should loosen the mechanism. If you have trouble in the future, have someone push down on the hood while you pull the handle. Hope this helps.
