Test running engine before installing in car 200

I am like the other post I would just drop it in the car. But if this is not possible and you do want to run it outside of the car make sure that you have the coolant system working.

For the fuel system, I would find a universial inline fuel pump (hose barbs on the inlet and outlet). Make sure that you hook up the return line from the fuel regulator output. Feed the return line back to the fuel tank you are using. This will give you a safer fuel delivery system than a pressurized fuel tank. Still this can be very dangerous.

You must realize that if you do not have the motor anchored down it may try to flip over if you rev it up. If you have ever bench tested a starter you have seen this anamoly.

Good luck and if you do build this test stand shoot some pictures and share them with the board.
