Value of a 91 244 final update

Do you need the higher octane gas to avoid pinging? I sure don't. Sure the engine is noisy, but no pinging that I can hear on normal 87 octane gas. You might as well save a few cents and go with midgrade.

With the intercooler you really do want a new wastegate actuator. Apparently you can't get the "old" style anymore. The old ones aren't long enough to handle the higher boost settings well.
