When you say a "new" actuator, I assume mean the actuator intended to be used with the IC. Likewise, I assume that "old" means an actuator intended for use without the IC (versus "new" meaning of recent manufacture).

When I grabbed the IC, I also grabbed the actuator -- so I should be OK in that regard.
