Oxygen sensor and fuel economy

If the sensor is functioning then you won't see a change in MPG. IF is a little slow to react then maybe you will see a change.

When mine went bad. I was pouring gas through my engine. Black smoke billowing out the back end. Fouled plugs and the oil smelled like gas.

Mine is a $135 part so at $35 I'd try it.
