Transmission Settings Blinking

I assume that the "up arrow" warning light is flashing on the the Dash also. This has happened to me when I got a code telling me the input shaft speed was different then the output speed(gear ratio taken into account)with the lock-up engaged which usually means the lock-up clutch is slipping. In any case, at least you didn't go into limp home mode. Usually the flashing on the mode switch and dash clears itself after you operate the ignition key about a dozen times.
