What's normal oil consumption for B230F engine?

Engines vary in their oil consumption, but that seems normal to me. Previously, I had a Jetta. Bought the car new and it consumed 1 qt. every 3000 miles right from the start. Had the car for 280K until totaled. At 280K it was consuming 1 qt./2000 miles.

Maybe it needs to be cleaned out. Take it for a long highway trip. Then check your oil consumption...
