Diffential Leak

Glad you managed yours.
I guess one key difference is whether or not you have the seal with the collapsible spacer (with recommended torque = 133-148 ft-lbs).
I thought I was lucky - no collapsible spacer - so no worries about pre-loading the bearings on reassembly, right?
Well, I got in there... saw that huge mutha of a nut (had to borrow a 1 3/16" socket - what's that - 31mm?) and heaved on it for about 2 hrs (between applications of PB blaster) with a 2-ft breaker bar. No luck. The memory makes my arms hurt.

Anyhoo... I don't want to discourage anyone from trying this job! just my experience.
