It can be done, and with sufficient fuel you could run 8-10psi safely on your 9.3:1 motor. There was a Volvo R-Sport kit to put a turbo on a B21A back around 1980. If you kept the carb, you would need to figure out a way to get the pressurized air into the carb (build a plenum) and see if the fuel pump flows enough to support the added HP. There are other issues like ignition too, so you might want to try posting at the Turbobricks message board.
