An old acquaintance of mine happened to plow his '71 145 into a full size GMC pickup. Both vehicles doing 50ish. The Volvo engine was about halfway past/under the firewall. The windshield didn't break. Didn't even lose its seal. Alan walked away with only a broken toe. The fella in the truck was a little worse off, but OK none the less....
