Opinions on V40 wagon?!?

Currently own an 83 244...considering buying a (GULP) FWD wagon. From my limited research, it appears 97 was the last year for the 850. what about 2000 wagon? Is that a V40? Is a N/A model available? I know this is the wrong forum, but I trust you guys opinions. What year did Volvo stop making RWD wagons? Thanks, Mark
