Opinions on V40 wagon?!?

I spoke to someone with an S40 a few days ago, and he said that while it was nice, it was pretty regular. He wished that he had bought an older Volvo instead.

Have you checked out the 90-93 240? I think that you would be surprised at how much more refined they are than the 83. Much quieter, among other improvements.

I would also recommend the 90+ 740, and the 940, from my experiences. Even more comfortable than the 240, and still has a lot of character and durability.

From what I have heard, though, the 850 is an excellent car, I wouldn't mind owning one. I have driven an S70 GLT, and it was very nice indeed!
