Yes, it is the same control unit. The IPD product comes with several additional parts, though:

1. Drivers side door lock actuator. From the factory the drivers side door _does not_ come with a power lock actuator. So, the IPD kit comes with this actuator (direct fit - OE part? )

2. Wiring for door lock actuator. Not a big deal, but it was certainly nice to have. (wires color-coded to the CS unit, correct length, appropriate crimp connectors and zip ties)

3. CS external dual relay module. You could just buy two relays and wire this up yourself, but the enclosed plug and play unit was nice to have.


So if you can find the other parts cheap enough, then it may be worth getting it of of eBay. I would probably avoid the hassle and get the IPD kit, though.


Note that the CS unit has an internal relay for powering the parking lights (flashes when you lock/unlcok) but you will need external relays for the other features (dome light, horn chirp, etc)
