TIMING BELT REPLACEMENT IS IT WORTH IT ?

Yes, it's worth it. The belt *will* break, sooner than later. Better have it replaced now on your terms rather than have it break on its schedule, late at night in the pouring rain in the middle of nowhere (call me paranoid...)

If it's never been replaced, count on replacing the tensioner (another $20-$30 in parts and 15 minutes of labor). Your mechanic may insist on replacing the front end seals -- $25 parts and another 1 hour labor.
